Club Development

The club have fantastic news to share.

We have begun the process of getting a full sized FAI certified and UEFA approved all weather Artificial Grass Pitch including upgrades needed to facilitate this very exciting development project. As we know this development will be extremely beneficial to not just the club, but also to the community. The clubs vision is to not only keep with the current consistency but to go above and beyond with growth and development for all age groups involved within the club and community.

The club currently has 14 league teams (inclusive of both boys and girls) plus our Academy group which starts from 6 years of age through to 11 years of age, and also the ever growing and very popular Football4All program.

As we all know the winter months bring with it a lot of rain and restricts clubs from training and fulfilling their match fixtures. With this planned development it will allow the club to fulfill fixtures and continue overall development.

With this we would like to kick off our first fundraiser/competition ‘Last Man Standing’. This will give everyone an opportunity to join and take part in the future of Youghal United AFC and the Community.

This is the very start of this exciting Club and Community project and we’ll be sharing updates regularly to our social media pages.

To start joining the first fundraiser you will need to do the following steps;

Club news

We’d like to share the news that the club have teamed up with Klubsport as a partner klub. This means that Klubsport will be our main provider for clothing/sportswear and also our main fundraising platform. We would like to thank Azzurri Sport for being our provider over the last few years and wish them all the best with their future endeavours. The club will be updating the online shop with the changes in the coming weeks. Watch this space for more news!We look forward to this new partnership with Klubsport.

St Patrick’s Parade - It was wonderful to see everyone taking part in the Youghal parade but also great to see Youghal United AFC and Football4All represented in the Dublin St Patrick’s Parade by one of our coaches Thomas Clohessy.

National Cup - Our U16 Team will be playing the Quarter finals in Dublin vs Home Farm FC. We wish the team a safe journey and the very best for their next challenge.
